This was a six month project to create a high quality atlas and illustrate all of the constellations in an attractive design for children aged 4 - 8.
It was great fun working with the Collins Team and author Tom Kerss and the final product has been highly praised.
One of my favourite spreads in the book, the endpapers. This was quite a challenge, fitting in most of the constellations in an attractive and balanced way. Would make a great jigsaw puzzle.
The book is split into the Northern Hemisphere, Shared Skies and the Southern Hemisphere. These highlighted various constellations and the pages are filled with fun facts.
The constellation pages were split by brightly illustrated spreads with various themes grouping constellations together with fun and educational facts.
