Planet Penzance is the second in the Planet Series.
This is a stylised and almost geographically correct rendition of the beautiful town of Penzance in Cornwall. It features most of the landmarks of the town and also nearby Marazion and the island of St Michael's Mount. St Michael's was drawn from the seaward side which is rarely shown in art.
Produced as a vector file in Adobe Illustrator, it took a few weeks to design the layout to the optimum visual quality, portraying the very essence of Penzance and the coastal area.
Below shows all of the outlines of the artwork. Each landmark building is usually drawn in full and placed behind other artwork parts, meaning there is much more detail than you can see in the final design.
